Past & Presents, at the Western Reserve Historical Society, is well stocked with books about every aspect of Cleveland life, past or present. Fashion, food, industry, society, sports, architecture...you'll find books you never knew existed on all these aspects of Cleveland life. You can also pick up maps of the Western Reserve, postcards, t-shirts and supplies to do your family's genealogy, a WRHS specialty. A bonus: since WRHS's space includes the Crawford Auto and Aviation Museum, the store also carries a large stock of model cars, including cars that were made in Cleveland when the city rivaled Detroit as an automotive center.

Hale Farm & Village

The Hale Farm & Village store features hand-made crafts from our potters, blacksmiths, weavers, candlemakers, broommakers, basket makers, woodworkers and glassblowers, so after you've spent a day learning how they're made, you can take the crafts home as souvenirs. Other favorites include hand held lanterns, tavern puzzles, and good old-fashioned toys like jacks and jump ropes.
